International Journal of Advanced Quality Management

The idea behind the emergence of this journal is to draw attention towards advances in the knowledge of quality management and continuous improvement in quality products and services to fulfill the needs of customers and satisfy them. Quality management has been gaining importance with globalization and expanding operations to global markets. At the same time, different organizations are facing stiff competition with the ever expanding global market and hence, quality is becoming a major differentiating feature in new products and services development. In view of growing competition and the need of manufacturers and service providers to gain a stronghold, it has become increasingly important for quality management practitioners and academicians to be aware of the advanced quality principles, tools and techniques, and latest developments in the field of quality management. Therefore, the aim of IJAQM is to contribute towards the development of quality management system and strategies relating to improving business performance and satisfying customer through the application of the concept of total quality management. The journal also addresses the changing expectation of customers through the usage of qualitative methodologies like ‘Quality Function Deployment’; Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy’; Analytic Network Process’; and ‘Balance Score Card’ as well as proposing models and implementing Six-Sigma; SERVQUAL; Design-of-Experiment in practice to gain competitive advantage.

Considering the above issues, the IJAQM invites high quality and unpublished papers based on theoretical and conceptual framework/models, emerging methodologies, exhaustive literature review, surveys, empirical studies and case studies as well as on the issues that focuses on the scope of this journal covering practical engineering and science disciplines.
